In this era of satellites and drones, the photographer’s role is gradually being challenged by the emergence of new technological tools offering the possibility of marveling at sublime landscapes, without even having to travel. Based on this observation, the artist Simas Lin wished to give a more meaningful meaning to urban exploration by visiting the industrial zone of Vilnius, on the outskirts of the Lithuanian capital, in order to capture the disturbing atmosphere of these deserted places, at the crossroads between the night dream and the scenery of a black novel.
