Qizai is the only brown panda in the world. Abandoned by his mother, he had to face bullying from other pandas because of his difference of color. He was rescued weak and alone in the natural park of Qingling Mountains in Central China. Chinese scientists think that the fact that his coat is brown and white is due to a genetic mutation. Qizai is now protected in the Foping Panda Valley.
