If we are used to fights in underground stations, this image captured in the London Underground is nevertheless quite surprising.

As part of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition of the London Museum of Natural History, photographer Sam Rowley has taken an incredible shot. The artist is known for is photographs of fleeting moments, and he proved his talent once again with this shot of what appears to be a violent fight between two mice.

“That fight lasted a split second, before one of them grabbed a crumb and they split up.”

With this photo – named “Station Squabel” – the photographer won the Lumix People’s Choice Award. To see more unlikely scenes of animal life, follow Sam Rowley on Instagram.
