Created by Boeing, the microlattice is a new metallic material that is defined by his ultra-light weight and its composition of tubes in nickel equivalent to 99,99% of air. This type of metal, similar to a spider web, is so light that he can be hold and supported by a dandelion without crushing it. Inspired by human bones and its deep alveolus, this new invention is also solid. It will be used in the field of aviation and the aircrafts’ construction in order to reduce the polluant emissions of fuel.
