With “Sacré bordel”, Bigflo & Oli talk about their love for France and the doubts that are running through the country a few days before the first day of the presidential election. In the song, the Toulouse-based band make no secret of their political intentions and struggles: “I hear there’s a fire in the chapel, the country of Joan of Arc or Djamel. It seems that being bitter is our pride, that we are the kings of freedom. In the grimoire, there are the Gauls, there are the knights, but in the kitchen, there is my grandmother and her erased Berber tattoos”. The duo comments: “This break was really good for us, we’ll tell you everything soon. We wanted to come back with a meaningful and important song for us rather than a light and more “expected” song. We hope we didn’t make a mistake. This video was really a titanic struggle to put together, we didn’t expect it to be so complicated ourselves. A big Bravo to the technical teams who worked hard for a week to transport this damn cube everywhere”.
