Through her artwork A Woman’s Work is Never Done, English artist Eliza Bennett uses hands as a canvas. She sews threads on the palm of her hand to design these unusual embroideries. If she has chosen embroidery, that’s because it’s a feminine activity according to the general opinion. She sews only the edge of her skin and doesn’t feel any pain, just a light discomfort. Some will see a feminist protest but according to her, this work only deals with human values.
