Singer Florence + The Machine just released a new music video for her song “Delilah” from her new album How Big How Blue How Beautiful, directed by Vincent Haycock. This staging, named The Odyssey – Chapter 6 and choreographed by Holly Blakey, is written in the continuity of her recent clips based on biblical and esoteric themes. Here, she takes over the myth of Samson and Delilah through a contemporary story : Florence is waiting for a sign from her boyfriend that doesn’t give any news, so she dances, with frenzy, rage and abandon, in a dirty motel. With, of course, a scene where she cuts his hair.
