French director Marion Poizeau got interested in these Iranian women that introduce surf, for the first time in Iran, through her documentary Into The Sea. This project came from 2013, in a Tedx conference during which she challenged herself with an uneasy bet : introducing surf in Iran thanks to women in order to break the sexist prejuidices and eras the cultural borders by making the thinking of everyone evolve. This movie was filmed on the Baloutchistan’s beaches, in a region located at the desert doors, very conservative and corrupted because of its terrorist attacks and opium trafic. She called 3 women : Irish surfer Easkey Britton, and two Iranians, Mona Seraji (ambassador of feminine snowboard in Iran) and Shalha Yasini (Iranian swimmer).
