On a Facebook Live, the American channel HBO proposed to users and fans of the Games of Thrones series to melt a huge block of ice by commenting on the video with the word Fire. When this block was completely melted the release date was unveiled, the series will resume on July 16th. This communication was accompanied by the first teaser of season 7, which does not reveal any new images but looks back on the history of Westeros.
