Jorge Luengo Ruiz has studied for a long time Pixar’s movies to understand what makes them more complex than they seem to be. In fact, their movies are stuffed by references. He places mythical scenes of their animations side by side with the biggest scenes of the international cinema, to show that these directors and producers love paying tribute to the classical cinema. For instance, we notice that Toy Story takes directly a sequence from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, Vertigo, and even The Exorcist.
