The Megaforce team and Rihanna herself have co-directed her clip for the song “Bitch Better Have My Money”. With a turning movement of the camera, well-known from the Megaforce, we can see the singer sorting out the debts of a wealthy couple, like an Alice’s in Dollarland or with a look of the Kid like Charlie Chaplin. The clip is filled by references : we can see a wink to Fear and Loathing in Vegas, Carrie or the music video “Flashing Lights” of Kanye West, a trio of women acting like Thelma & Louise, an acolyte like Rose McGowan in Doom Generation, the smoking fireworks of Mad Max and a cameo of the actor Mads Mikkelsen for a beautiful Hannibal ending. It seems like Rihanna is taking a new shift.
