Since 2005, the Mobile Film Festival stands for the detection and the promotion of new talents, through a worldwide videomaking contest : 1 mobile – 1 minute – 1 film. This short movie, called Street Beat, directed by Carly Hughes, shows the youth of Venice Beach, in California, living their art, dancing, performing in the streets. A beautiful homage, filmed, obviously, with a smartphone.
