The couple Rachel & Jun decided to explore this stunning ice village, on the lake Shikaribetsu. Situated in the south of the national park of Daisetsuzan, it’s of an incredible beauty ; the water of this lake, which is one of the clearest of Japan, freezes completely during winter, allowing the construction of iglooes, a bar and even a chapel completely made in ice. There is also a possibility of attending concerts in an igloo for show, as well as of bathing in outdoor thermal baths.
