After The Theory of Everything who brought him the Best Actor Award at the Oscars last year, Eddie Redmayne comes back in the upcoming movie of Tom Hooper (Les Misérables, The King’s Speech) : The Danish Girl expected for the 20th January 2016. This biopic will tell the story of artist Lili Elbe (Eddie Redmayne), near her girlfriend Gerda Wegener played by Alicia Vikander, and who was the first operated transgender. We find in the casting Amber Heard, Matthias Schoenaerts and Ben Whishaw. A movie that reminds us the Elle Fanning’s upcoming role in About Ray.
