The Japanese studio Ghibli, created in 1985 by Hayao Miyazaki, makes the magic happens by giving life to a “emaki” : an illustrated story to read horizontally, which comes to us of Chōjū-Giga, a book in 4 volumes, presenting beautiful drawings of XIIth and XIIIth centuries. The founders of the studio are very attached to perpetuate the Japanese culture traditions, and this nice story of a frog sharing its umbrella with a rabbit is the proof : extracts of this national treasure are presented everywhere in Japanese museums.
