Brad Kremer et Dean Fowler, deux cinéastes américains sont fascinés par Akira, film d’animation japonais réalisé par Katsuhiro Otomo en 1988. Dans un court film hommage ils ont reproduit en images de synthèse l’atmosphère de la réalisation originale entre néons et la vie nocturne de Tokyo, sans oublier la célèbre moto.
